Whatever happened to WordStar?

by John Hood, author of The Best of Free Software

The absolute very first word processor I ever used was WordStar, running on an M/PM system at college. I wrote everything on it: papers, a newspaper column, letters home asking for money...

I found WordPerfect later and used that, but I still wondered what ever happened to that grand old word processor I spent so many hours with.

I found out: A Potted History of WordStar

A Win32 Wordstar clone was also created by Martin Vieregg, and is is also avaiable on his website.
