WhyReboot - find out why you are being told to reboot

WhyReboot is a small (~60KB) Windows application that displays a list of pending file operations that will occur after rebooting your computer.

Quote from the website

Well, I've always wondered why any particular installation should require a reboot. In some cases, I've suspected that the reboot is not really necessary, but is done as a precautionary measure (or due to sheer laziness or outright incompetence) by the author of the install script. (My experience as a software developer confirms the prevalence of this sort of thing.) Further research only confirms this.
