MidiSplit - break out the instruments

I received a request from the author of this freeware.

http://www.davidputman.com/index.php?software=midisplit.txt

The software can be found on this page and there are download links at the top and bottom of the page.

It is a Windows utility for splitting midi tracks and files. It should run on most versions of windows.

It can split a file into tracks based on the channel numbers of the events found in it and it can split a track based on the midi notes in it. For example you might want to split a drum track into different instruments and, as each instrument is a different note, this is how you would do it.

It comes with an install pack and is uninstalled from the Control Panel.

It is a very simple to, one feature utility and, therefore, has no help files.
