X-Cleaner Micro Edition - now and then, a quick scan really helps

I just like tiny applications that are contained in a single executable file. I like them even more when they are good at what they do. I really like X-Cleaner Micro.

It's a simple download, then you are off and scanning. The website offers an ActiveX scan running out of Internet Explorer, but since I use Firefox, which lacks ActiveX, I don't use it. I did find that just under the link to the ActiveX program was a link to this single executable file.

It's not hidden, it's just not obvious.

Wrong! Never open or run an application from a web browser link. Always download it so your built in intrusion detection software can scan it.
