Gom Player - Simple, Free & Light multimedia player

Multimedia players? Eveyone has multiple choices for multimedia. There are so many good free players out there and that's what makes it tough to choose. I stumbled across Gom Player this week and thought I'd give it a try.
Pros:
It weighs in pretty small with a 4mb installer and it did install very easily. Gom Player includes almost any media codec you will need, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it plays flash video files (FLV) very well. The controls that you see when using it are the same basic controls you see on every player. This player can also be tweaked by adding WinAmp plugins and other codecs.
Cons:
There isn't much I could find wrong with it. I would have liked to have seen more skins available for it but I could live without them.
Conclusion:
This is a great free alternative to WMP (Windows Media Player). It does all the same stuff that WMP does and it's less likely to load you down with requests to add more features/codecs/licenses like WMP does. I'd recommend this one for kids and newbies. Serious audio and video freaks will not be impressed. Personally, I'm still going to stick with Media Player Classic which comes with the KliteCodecs.
