dBpowerAMP - the swiss army knife of music converters

Over the past few years, whenever someone asked me how to convert music file formats, I always referred them to dBpowerAMP. I received some bad news a few months ago. It seems dBpowerAMP's music converter is no longer completely free. I saw that they now offer the mp3 codec on a trial license because of legal reasons. Never fear! I have a friend who is storing the old freeware version.
